My niece was pushing another kid on a playground swing yesterday and her finger got caught in the bare chain of the swing. She fully lost the tip of her finger and won't know if she can keep part of her finger until a consultation with plastic surgeons next week.

I feel so awful about the pain she is in now and the trauma and anxiety she will carry forward.
