  • I received a belated birthday present from my sister Ilea today and was delighted to get an Astro Boy shirt (I now happily have three), vegan nut butter cups, and a stack of vintage sci fi and fantasy. I guess those need to factor into my 2026 reading plans.

  • We're having a morning crossing the harbour and at the ferry terminal Celestine sat down at the piano. I noticed the theme to Howl's Moving Castle was open.
