Some Last Calgary Oddities
Before my midnight flight I was able to walk around downtown Calgary for a couple hours and enjoyed spotting some beautiful art placed here and there. Even the airport had some oddities, like the orange horse near security.

Hospital Wait
Early this morning Tonet and I headed to the IWK, the local hospital for children, youth and women. Our baby is taking time arriving, so we spent the morning climbing stairs in the stairwell and doing what we could to help encourage the process.
I spotted some lovely art pieces around the hospital, and especially enjoyed the birds scattered around.

I headed over to Dartmouth for an appointment yesterday and saw this mural again for the first time in a long while.
Pintô Art Museum
Yesterday we traveled to Antipolo to visit the Pintô Art Museum. The museum grounds are beautiful on their own and the art pieces presented in the various galleries are stunning. The collection of contemporary Filipinx art is diverse and affecting; there are shocking, tender, heartbreaking and inspiring pieces throughout the museum.
National Museums
Thursday we visited some of the national museums in Manila. We visited the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum of Anthropology and the National Museum of Natural History in a day, but there was enough in each to fill a full day.
