  • Today I finished with Map 3 of Koala Rescue Club. Rolls were not in my favour, so I ended with 21 points and Club Treasurer rank.

I've enjoyed having Koala Rescue Club as a daily habit for a few weeks. It's a fun game with enough strategy involved to keep it feeling fresh.

  • I did some catch-up on Map 3 of Koala Rescue Club, set in Galinyala, because of the holiday Monday and a day at home with a sick kid on Wednesday. I felt a bit more at the whims of chance during this first round, but it's been fun.

  • This morning I finished map 2 of Koala Rescue Club, achieving vice-president status for Yugambeh.

I'm still having fun with this game and for the next two weeks I'm off to Galinyala, Map 3.

  • I played through the first round of map 2 in Koala Rescue Club this week. The rolls didn't go that great for me, and it feels like I'm off to a slow start, but it's fun.

  • I finished up map 1 of Koala Rescue Club today, ending with a club treasurer ranking. I plan to start map 2 next week and keep with 3 rolls a day. I've been enjoying the game's mechanics, choices, and theme.

  • I finished the first round of Koala Rescue Club Map 1 today. The pacing of 3 rolls each day makes the rounds fall evenly as a full work week. It's challenging to make tree planting, rehoming, and hospital progress. Even though it's a simple game in its mechanics, there's enough strategy demanded of choices that it's a rewarding experience.

  • My new daily roll and write game is Koala Rescue Club, a game described as a "puzzly polyomino game with two layers of decisions" that simulates planting trees and rehoming koalas.

I'm playing 3 turns each day I'm at my desk at work, so I'll get through a map each typical work week. So far there have been three maps released.
