I finished up the Star Trek: Picard – Countdown comic series over the weekend. It was such a comforting experience to spend time immersed in the Star Trek universe again, with Jean-Luc Picard being written true to form and the story having enough novelty to keep it interesting.

Star Trek: Picard – Countdown #1

I enjoyed seeing familiar faces and the introduction of the ethical problems that are so familiar from the best of Star Trek. It delivered on what I hoped for and after one issue it feels like a good primer for what is to come.
