I first really committed to community online with LiveJournal. I had some really wonderful relationships that spun out of connecting with people there, including a girlfriend who shaped a lot of my early adulthood.

I stayed connected with a bunch of them when Facebook became the platform most of us moved to, but as most of us stopped using that actively we've mostly lost touch.

I logged into my LiveJournal account today for a bit of nostalgia. I wonder if anyone has made it over to the fediverse and how I might find them to reconnect.
