There was a heavy rain during my window for running in the morning, but it was an opportunity to try Zombies, Run!'s The Home Front, a series of accessible aerobics exercise sessions that are planned to be released weekly. It's a good introduction to how ZR missions work, and to the delightful Sam Yao.
Zombies, Run! Halloween 2019 Virtual Race 10K
I woke early and headed out for the Zombies, Run! Halloween 2019 Virtual Race 10K. I ran the 5k in October and had been waiting for the opportunity for a longer run. Running along the water at sunrise was thrilling.

For my run home from work I ran the Zombies, Run! Halloween 2019 Virtual Race, Escape From Runaway Fairground 5K. The story was fun and I appreciated the send-up of the awful combination of magical thinking and capitalism.

Today I ran the first mission of Zombies, Run!'s eighth season. The run was what I've come to expect from the game; the voice acting is solid and the story is generally strong.

My run today in the Zombies, Run! app had an interesting change. In the latest beta of the app there are two new missions that are unrelated to the Zombies, Run! story and are instead time travel stories that follow the Lewis & Clark Expedition. I enjoyed the different style of run and the facts inserted into the run. It's more like the content of Six to Start's other major running project

This morning I ran the Zombies, Run! Spring 2019 Virtual Race, my longest run so far this year. The weather is beautiful today, so it was refreshing to run to and through Point Pleasant Park and on further.

I was low on sleep but this afternoon I decided to run the Spring 2019 Virtual Race from Zombies, Run! I wasn't at my peak because I have a 3-day-old baby and all that entails and haven't been running in the week leading up to her birth, but I was happy with my pace considering the situation.

This morning I ran the first training mission for the next Zombies, Run! virtual race, Train to Oban. I have a strong appreciation of trains, so it's fun to have missions involving them.
